If you are arriving at the Philadelphia Airport, it is easy to get to Center City by SEPTA Regional Rail train (Airport Line). Tickets for this train are purchased on the train (the ticket costs $8 and the conductor only accepts cash). The same train continues to the station “Temple University”.

If you are going from campus, you board at the station “Temple University”. If you are going from Center City, you board at "Suburban Station" (16th St. and JFK Blvd., Philadelphia).
The easiest way to get to campus from Center City is to take the orange Broad Street Line from “Walnut and Locust” station or “City Hall” station. Both stations are on Broad St. Get off at the station “Cecil B. Moore/Temple University”. Tokens for the subway can be purchased (for cash) at the station.
More detailed directions to campus can be found here.
