The critical zeros of L-functions
In the absence of Riemann hypothesis it is natural to ask how many zeros of the Riemann zeta functions and the Dirichlet L-functions are on the critical (central) line? Moreover, assuming the Riemann hypothesis, how the zeros are spaced? These will be the topics of the talk. Several old and new results will be discussed, mostly the joint results obtained recently with J.B. Conrey and K. Soundararjan.
