DMV-ÖMG-Jahrestagung 2021, Sektion Geometrie und
Topologie

The Section "Geometry and Topology" of the DMV-ÖMG annual meeting 2021 will be organized as a meeting
"Young Topologists and Geometers"
As a whole, the DMV-ÖMG-Jahrestagung is
organized online. Nonetheless, a limited number of
participants of the section will meet in presence in a conference venue
located between Göttingen and Hannover.
For the meeting, we will have a number of established keynote speakers. The
majority of the presentations is reserved for young topologists and geometers
(mainly current PhD students and young postdocs),
and we hope to create and foster a network of the researchers of the next
generation.

Practical details for participation in presence at the

Sonnenberg:
- Speakers on site should prepare their presentation with laptop/tablet,
to be broadcast to the off site participants (and being projected in the
seminar room.
- arrival is Monday for Lunch, departure Thursday after the afternoon
coffee.
- The nearest station is Einbeck-Salzderhelden. From there, one has to call
a taxi. Recommended is Taxiunternehmen KEIME
